Our Story

Seven years ago, my life felt like it was falling apart. I had broken up from a marriage, left my job running a youth center, and dropped out of my Master’s degree in Primary Teaching. Nothing seemed to be working out, and I couldn’t understand why.

One night, I woke up in the middle of the night with a vision. I grabbed a notepad and wrote, “The Blank Canvas.” The idea was to run an art studio where people could express themselves freely. They would be the blank canvas, inspired to create without any labels, judgment, or assessment.

I held onto that dream for so many years, but it never went away. It was always there, waiting for the right time to come to life.

Today, I am so happy to say that dream is a reality. Messy Glow Co. is a place where people of all ages can come to express themselves, create, and feel inspired. It’s a space where everyone can fully be themselves without judgement.

What I’ve learnt from this is to never forget about your dreams, and don’t beat yourself up if you haven’t pursued them yet either. When the time is right, when you are ready, and when the world is ready for that magic, nothing will stop your dreams coming to life 🩷
